Access Control

Access Control

Access Control enables you to decide who enters and leaves your property. Once permissions have been granted, it also allows you to monitor the movements of these individuals, ensuring a greater level of security for your business premises, studio, holiday let, or even your own home. Secure internal and external doors with the latest in digital technology, putting Access Control at your fingertips.

Control Unauthorised Personnel

Control Unauthorised Personnel

It is all too easy for an intruder to simply walk into an office or private building, especially during the day and at break times when there's an increase in movement, and a stranger can go unnoticed or gain access under the guise of a delivery person. Once inside, it is then possible to take hardware such as computers, flat screen monitors, laptops, tablets and smartphones. Whilst this is extremely expensive and disruptive, it is the data stored within them that poses a more serious risk to your company.

Don't Compromise Your Data

Don't Compromise Your Data

Having your sensitive details and private data stolen can have a catastrophic effect on your company. If a security breach involves the compromise of client information, this may well result in a loss of trust and custom. In some cases, an intrusion can pose a serious threat to staff safety. Access Control is a simple, cost-effective method of making sure your premises are secure and that you are meeting your responsibilities as the owner or manager.

Bespoke Access Solutions

FSL can advise and provide a number of Access Control bespoke options to suit your premises. By fitting an electronic keypad to any door, you wish to remain locked, access is then restricted to those provided with the unique pin number. To offer a more advanced option, choose a device that can be operated using proximity fobs/cards, issued to relevant staff and users. This makes entering and exiting buildings and gated areas a seamless process. Staff do not need to memorise a pin number and it is also possible to issue visitors with time-limited fobs/cards.

Accountability Made Easy

Accountability Made Easy

If you need to know the movements of staff, and specifically who has been in and out of particular areas, an Access Control System is a perfect choice. As it runs from a PC or server it can provide a full event log, with the ability to place restrictions around certain times and zones – and if you need to bar an individual's access at short notice, this is a simple, effective way of doing so. This can prove a cost-effective solution for time management, accountability and payroll. Automating a laborious time sheet-based process saves valuable time.

Home Owners

Home Owners

It is not just businesses and organisations that can benefit from Access Control systems. Owners of domestic dwellings can be free from the stress of lost keys, the expense of having extra copies made and needing to have new locks fitted following a change in occupancy. Whether you have a large family, lodgers, are a registered landlord or operate a holiday let, a keypad entry system is a dependable and convenient way to secure your property. It is also a useful way to give cleaners, dog walkers and tradespeople access, as well as removing the need to carry a set of keys around with you at all times and with the option to change the code at any time, you control who has access to your home and when.

Compliance and Maintenance

Compliance and Maintenance

As well as carrying out a comprehensive survey to identify your requirements and providing professional installation, FSL can take care of your system maintenance. FSL recommend that an Access Control system receives planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspection per annum, which we will schedule across the year, to ensure the continued performance of your system and its associated safety devices. These visits are conducted in accordance with the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) codes of practice for Access Control systems, giving you peace of mind and letting us take care of all the paperwork for you.

The relevant compliance regulations and British Standards BS7799 and BS EN 50133 are also taken into account as part of the maintenance process, as is the Disability and Discrimination Act 1995 which we will ensure is adhered to during the system design process, making your system accessible to all. At FSL we take care of everything, including tailored training on the system's functionality so you can focus on the task of managing your staff and business.
